Jeep Wrangler Muffler Leaking Water at Elliot Owen blog

Jeep Wrangler Muffler Leaking Water. I know condensation is normal but does everyone. recently i found a lot of white stuff near the muffler and pipe, and water was dripping down. water does in fact drip from most exhaust especially after a start up as condensation builds up in the system after. when i start up the jeep i get a lot of water vapor condensing at the join between the head pipe and the resonator. the reason that water will pour out more in short trips is because the exhaust will be cold thus condensing the water vapor. i think it is either water trapped somewhere from recent rain (interior is dry), condensation from the exhaust accumulating and dripping. I'm sure it's not coming from. i know there’s a few “weep holes” in certain spots in the exhaust, but none seem to be where i’m seeing water dripping. i drove the vehicle last night, and this morning i noticed that the muffler body was leaking water (approximately half a cup).
